Micro-sections taken as a result of these platinum capsules showed considerable grain boundary assault as demonstrated in Fig. four. Here the grains have opened up more than half way through the section with the tube. No assault of this sort was observed when vacant platinum capsules have been annealed in air, and the experimental observations are
